You are invited to participate in an online survey to provide input on housing and community development needs in the city of Gainesville!

As recipients of federal funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Gainesville is required to submit a five-year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan in order to receive grant funds under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME). The Consolidated Plan sets the City’s strategic objectives to address housing and community development needs through HUD funding and other resources. The Annual Action Plan outlines how the City will spend the funds it receives annually from HUD. We encourage all residents and stakeholders to get involved in the process and provide us with your feedback!

Below is a link to the online survey. Your responses will be kept completely confidential. The survey is web-based and conducted by a third party vendor. Your name will not be attached to any results, and to ensure your anonymity we will not report any results that have less than three respondents. The survey is user-friendly and you should be able to complete it within 15-20 minutes or less.

We appreciate your willingness to participate and value your feedback. Our hope is this process will help us identify housing and community development needs in the City of Gainesville.

If you have any questions, please contact: John Wachtel at City of Gainesville Housing & Community Development (352) 393-8565.
