Michelle Beans

Chief Financial Officer

Michelle has more than 28 years of financial industry experience, including 19 in banking where she served as Regional Vice President overseeing footings in excess of $600 million. She was also in public accounting working for a firm specializing in public housing. As a fee accountant, she worked with a variety of agencies and brings to GHA the best practices learned from these experiences. Michelle holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and she is currently enrolled at Liberty University pursing an MBA in Public Administration. In addition, she has held licenses issued by the Security and Exchange Commission.

Angela Donley

Staff Accountant

Serving as the staff accountant at Gainesville Housing Authority, Angela was previously the accountant supervisor at Tower Hill Insurance Group in Gainesville, FL. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Saint Leo University and has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Malcolm Kiner

Chief Operating Officer

Malcolm currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Gainesville Housing Authority after serving as an Urban Development Manager with the City of Tampa where he served as the West Tampa – Drew Park Community Redevelopment Manager for 3 years, prior to his time in Tampa Malcolm worked as a Project Manager with the City of Gainesville Community Redevelopment Agency for 7 years. Kiner was responsible for a diverse group of redevelopment projects throughout his CRA career. Kiner is a 2008 alum of the National Urban Fellows Program that develops professionals to be leaders and change agents in the public and nonprofit sectors. He received his Master’s in Public Administration in August 2008 from Bernard M. Baruch College School of Public Affairs and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. Kiner is active in his church and community, volunteering as a mentor, and working as a volunteer with nonprofit organizations.

Michelle Dorlean

Executive Assistant

Michelle Dorlean comes to the Gainesville Housing Authority as Executive Assistant to the CEO after having worked in the private sector of the housing industry.  She brings with her 12 years of experience working in conventional and student housing communities.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kaplan University in 2016 and currently holds her aPHR certification.  Michelle is very active in her church where she volunteers weekly and has a heart for service.
