In honor of Fair Housing Month, Gainesville Housing Authority, in collaboration with City of Gainesville’s Equal Opportunity Office, Alachua County’s Equal Opportunity Office and Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors (GACAR), is hosting its second Fair Housing Story Time event. A family-friendly event where we will read “It’s Okay to Be Different” aloud, followed by a discussion on diversity and inclusion and how it relates to fair housing. There will also be an informational session on how fair housing impacts everyone. To conclude the event everyone will be treated to an ice cream social.
