In an effort to create a Joint Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH), and to recognize fair housing issues and their contributing factors, Gainesville Housing Authority, The City of Gainesville, Alachua County and the Alachua County Housing Authority have formed a partnership.
The City, and ACHA are required to take meaningful actions to:
- Combat discrimination
- Overcome patterns of segregation
- Foster inclusive communities free from the barriers that restrict access to opportunity based on race, color, religion, sex, familial status, national origin, disability, age sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.
